Shadows of Fear

Shadows hover so dark around
Of fear hunting like wild bloodhound
Danger lurking in every bend
Sly trickster he tried to befriend
Here I’m now with mind confound

How I let him forge through my guards
Was I reckless with no regards?
My eyes haunted now looks so pale
Shadows hover

Will ever these fears let me free?
Will ever again love I see
Will ever his thirst be quenched?
With tears my soul is all drenched
With hope I now will end my plea
Shadows hover

I could sense the sadness in your heart, a wonderful poem, and so good to read. You will in time be free from this pain, each day is a new day and with hope you will achieve freedom . Good luck.

Yvonne.

how i let him forge through my gaurds?
boy o boy that is the line.
THE LINE!

i have something to share with you :)
dont get bored ok :)

love is like a lightbulb in an empty room. it has the chance to go out, and when it does, we freeze up. we walk with eyes closed, finding a way out of the darkness, to bring light back once again.

but sometimes we don’t want to suffer the pain of bumping into anything, or getting hurt on our way out, so some of us stand still. we decide not to escape it, and our eyes get used to being open but seeing nothing at all.

we are sorta waiting endlessly hoping that someone will find us, and we stand in fear, perfectly still until it happens. sigh

soo true dear...:(..*sigh*...somehow we find those memories we shared in that light to hold us on even in the darkness...n somehow we get soo used to darkness with those memories we jus live entire life hopin for someone to rescue yet not want to be rescued....those were the days my frien:)...when u still have that light..its better to forget all negativity n hope n expectations and jus make sweet memories..lots of them.n god forbid but if the light goes we can survive with those memories...hope i make sense:)..i know its seems we prefer darkness to others but only we know wat it feels..
